i tried to blow snow 2 days ago and it was plenty cold out but i had majior problems.

Problem 1: My snow gun kept freezing up and the air hoses kept freezing up but i fixed the air hopse problem.

Problem 2: for some reason air was coming out of the gun but no water, then i almost pooped my self when i found out the air was pussing into the water hose and backing into the pluming system in my house and when i go into my base ment the is a bunch of water on my floor right by the water tank

how do you make snow with out everything freezing up and why did the air go into the water tank?

OK, I don't have much time right now and will post more info in a few hours, but what happened was your air pressure was higher then your water pressure. You need to try and run you air pressure from you air compressor at about 45 psi.

Do not run it any high or you will have the same problem.

wow i was doing it way to high i had it at about 100- 115 psi

i just went out and blew for 30-45 min and near the gun i had one inch and then farther away a 12 inch but a lot of it was blowing away cuz there were wind gusts

its a 4 horse power 25 gallon 7 cfm and 90 psi and max 125 psi sears craftsmen

yes 7 cfm at 90 psi is more like 10 or 11 cfm at 40 psi

nnnnooooooo i blew 1 to 1 and 1/2 inch in 30 min but then stoped just to see how good it works im going to blow more later in the week
