I can relate to what you posted (not the beating off aspect, but yah ;), I usually always check my mailbox right when the mailman comes in anticpation for new ski magazines and immediately read them cover-to-cover. But regarding the question at the end of your post - Yes, I do have a life besides skiing, but it's still what I would consider one of the more important things in my life. Maybe I am a bit too crazy about it. But I think everyone starts to go a little over the top this time of the year - the snow is coming and we're all stoked about it so we thrive on things that will help cure our craving for snow. The smell of winter is in the air - temp is in the 30s tonight - !!!

temp in the 30s....yah, celsius. It's 6:30pm and it's still 30 in the shade. This is supposed to be freaking canada, nothern ontairo at that, and i'm melting away.
