Replying to The end of High North?

Earlier this summer I heard of an ordeal that occurred at High North, something about insurance problems. From what I understood, the camp shut down earlier than planned and the Whistler Open obviously wasn't held because of it. I never did hear the details of what happened and was curious as to whether anyone knows the story and whether the camp is shut down for good or if it will be back and running next summer.
