And NBA is all bullocks anyway, it's got sloppy rules just to make the fans happy. That's why the US comes into something like the World Champs and gets owned, coz they're used to playing show b-ball. I'm not saying that they're not a damn good team but still. we didn't 'send' our best team cause no one cares about the world championships here. it only made news when yao ming was playing and when we lost. high school basketball is a bigger deal than world championships; there were less than 1000 people at the game yesterday.

Well it shows how much you know about the sport..most NBa teams wouldn't want their top players playing in a world championship that is meaningless to then when it could risk having their best players get injured. If Kobe broke his leg playing New Zealand the Lakers would be in some tough shit..having to pay someone millions to sit on the bench.

it's obvious we didn't care about it even if we did win. barely any of our top players played in the tournament; there's no good reason they should. the indiana high school state championships drew 4 times as many people as any game in this tournament. no one cared before, no one cared now about this tournament.
