I was at a fall fair in my small town, i was about 6. I was going down a huge slide and some kid at the bottom pushed the fence over onto the bottom of the slide, i came down and it hit my leg. I got 125 stiches. The cut didnt go straight inot my leg, it went on an angle so there was a huge slab of my leg hangin off. It was pretty sick.

i bounce - so i've never really had a bad injury, but i've had some good crash's... managed to run myself over with a 4-wheeler once...

in 3rd grade i was backing away from someone on the top level of the playground which is about 1 1/2 to 2 stories high and i flipped over the railing did a backflip and 3/4 and snapped my arm. i went to the nurses office and she gave me ice and i had to wait till the end of recess to go to the hospital. how the hell did you run yourself over...

polevaulting in track last year my mouth hit the bar on the way down, and i bit 35% of my toungue off. the re-connect the bloody piece in the ER. that sucked.

shit dude, i wanna see that scar - sounds like a good one. lol

well - my friend blinded me with rocks (no goggles and he went infront on a dirt road and swirved to throw rocks in my face). i ducked so i didn't get hit in the face, than when i came back up there was a schrub infront of me in the ditch (yea i was in the ditch by this time), hit the schrub and flipped off forwards and the 4-wheeler kept going... it was funny.

ah yes, running yourself over with a fourwheeler does suck.

ive been lucky with injuries in anything, ive never broken a bone, but one time my little brother through a crocket mallet at me and hit me in the forehead, i was about 6 though.

Someone ran me over in a jetski, 20 stitches in my head, and a bad concussion, and i shattered my forearm skiing, i was doing a 7 on my brothers skis, and when i went off the jump, one of the skis fell off, and threw me off balance, and i came right down on it, 2 plates and 10 screws

i was skiing when i was like nine in my rut riders race group and i went off from them to go off a jump and on the way i hit a guy and got a huge black eye and a nasty concussion. all i can remember is waking up in the ambulance and wantign a lot of orange soda

i did the same tongue thing except it was in a rocking chair and i fell forward and hit a coffee table, same story fountain of blood barely hanging on, i also spiraly fractured my leg (in the x-rays my leg resembled a screw) but seeing ho w tough i am :) (i wasnt crying i just yelled really loud once)the teacher snapped it back into place (fairly painful, at least there was snow though) and went to get ski patrol. the ski patrol didnt think anything was wrong though , even in the medical hut on the hill they didnt clue in when i started going into spasms, so 5 hours later the doctor tells me i need a full leg cast which remained on my leg for 2.5 months when everybody else told me i wouldnt need a cast

(trust me, the '' things aren't actually there)

yeah my friends and I built this real nice rail back last November before their was any snow back here in Buffalo NY. Anyway the temps were running at about 40 so we got some snow at a ice staking rink and carried it back in trash cans. we set up the run-way about 20 feet long and a liitle jump up onto the rail infront of this highschool right sown town. A couple days later we came back and set up the snow. I was the first to go, so my friends pulled me down by my poles and I went off the jump, but this time the jump was to low, my skis caught the edge of the rail and I landed face first upon the metal rail (No Helmet). My friends said I just layed their , and when I finally got up I kept saying, 'Fucking A man Fucking A,' Then they said I collapsed to the ground. After that I guess I got back up and made my way back to my house to my bed= not really sure? I just remember laying their not knowing if it was christmas break or what my name really was for that matter. I had to check the weather channel for the date, but later it my memory came back, but those 5 hours or so of that night where I knew nothing was the fucking scaryest time of my life. Im still kinda messed up and it left a nasty scar. So you kids out their get a helmet! I did

I broke my collar bone 2 ski seasons ago, and being my dumb ass self i kept snapping it again and again after that, took 4 months for a usually 6 week injurie to heal, but at least it was at the end of the season.

In second grade I jumped off of a swing and broke my wrist. I went to the nurse and she just wrapped it and said it was fine. A day later when It hurt to open door knobs I went and got an x-ray and it was broken.

those are some intense injuries...mine prolly aren't that bad...but when i was little i guess, i was riding my bike and i wanted to try and make it under this rope that my little sister and i had attached to 2 trees in our driveway, so when i started riding i yelled okay pull up the rope, and i tried to get under it, but i actually clothes-lined my self, and ended up flying off my bike and having a huge rope burn/cut across my neck..and one time, when i was skiing, we were sessioning this table top, and when i was in the air, i dont know how this happend, but i totally lost control and at the landing of the jump, my pole got stuck in the snow and i fell into it and the handle or whatever slammed right into my throat, and i had a horrible wipe out, and i just layed there for like 10 minutes and i could barely breath and i coughed up blood, it was kinda grose...the ski patrol didnt know what to do, they thought i broke my jaw at first cause i couldnt move it.. so he just made me lay off to the side and looked at me...but yah, i have tons of accident stories i cant remember them all right now though..im kinda prone to accidents...heh

I broke my leg racing 4 years ago in a super g, I went over a roller too big and lost my edge in a sweeping right hand turn. I hit a safety fence end on and it snapped my left leg on the boot line. 4 screws and a plate and its all good.





Freshies for a week after a dump? Temple Basin - Hell Yeah!

I have yet to break a bone, but am always injured from something or another. I've knocked out three teeth, half of one was embedded in my lip. sprained almost every muscle in my body, and fell on a broken glass when I was just able to walk. I cut through the tendons that control flexion in my wrist. and the list goes on. I'm not even going to touch the near misses I've had. I don't think I should be alive.

This one will win by far.

ok, i have disloacated my left shoulder a total of 26 times. Now, as a resultof it, after one bad fall, a piece of my growth plate in my shoulder broke and moved down my arm about 1 inch.

After 2 years, and another shoulder dislocation, the X-ray showed a golf ball sized tumor. This tumor kept growing into a kidney shape, pushing my shoulder slightly out of joint. Because of this, my shoulder could pop out very easily, and frequently did on a hard fall.

This summer i missed coaching at Camp Revolution because this tumor needed to be removed. After 3 hour sugury, the tumor was gone, and now i have a 4 inch scar on my shoulder that is badass.

that is my story. Another bad one is short. My friend was practicing Flairs inthe pipe with the help of Jon Olsson. After one he crashed hard. The CD Player in his breast pocket (big coat, so the pocket sat right below ribcage) hit the ground and ruptured his spleen. Emergency surgury to remove it, and he is doing fine now.

a couple years ago i was skiing trees and i got to a little open spot were some snowboarders had built a jump, i hit the jump then skied out of the way so they could keep jumping, i watched for a while then i went to ski back down and a dude missed the landing and hit me when i was skiing down. he landed on my head and forced my face into a stump and i broke my jaw.

then just this summer i was skiing moguls a hood and i hit the first air and sat down on the landing and shattered 3 vertabrae and strained all the muscles around my spine and in my neck. it was a long amblance ride into portland....

while the tumor was there, it came out so easy that i could run, and do a 180 into a wall so i hit the back of my shoulder, and it would pop out, so i did it at parties to ammuse people. it was funny shit!

Ive been reasonably safe.
1) Cracked my skull when I was swinging on a tree swing upside down and smacked my head on the roots.
2) Sliced my thumb open with a jib (for cutting jib board) knife, nearly lost use of it.
3) Sliced my knee open when I hit a hidden railway sleeper in some long grass while on a bike ride. I wasn't allowed to bend my knee for over a month.
4) My best mate punched me and broke my nose, in my haste to run to the school nurse I pushed this guy out of the way with my blood covered hand and got blood all over his shirt. He died 3 days later when a driver fell asleep at the wheel and took him out as he walked to a bus stop.

This other time me and my mate were cycling around a shopping mall carpark, when this random guy (we didnt know who the fuck he was) started cycling with us.
We were just cycling along in a straight line and he was talking to us. My mate and I saw this about 1.5x1.5 by maybe 4 feet high conrete bollard approaching. This loner guy was busy looking at us talking, he didnt see this bollard. He hit it and went over the handlebars, smacking the edge of the bollard right on his mouth. He screamed 'my mouth my mouth' and ran off. Last we saw of him.

I got a big concussion playing rugby 2 years ago, i ruined my shoulder by landing on it directly in the pipe (about a 3m fall) in Austria in January the doc said it will be fully healed in 2-3 years I have physio and it really hurts during rugby. I have a mad scar above on the inside of my right leg just above my ankle. My leg went around in my bike chain when I was 12 and the cogs dug out some good wads of flesh. When i was in Indonesia when i was 11 I fell in a hole in the sidewalk an a rod of iron dug into my right leg 3 inches below my knee on the out side, I had 35 stitches, 15 of them were internal. I was in a wheel chair for a month.

broke my leg snowboarding, the 2 bones in the lower part of my leg slid in between eachother, my one leg was about 6 inches shorter than my other leg and when the pulled the bones apart the nurse lifted up my foot and my leg just bent in half my foot was hanging over the edge of the best doing twrils it was fucked I was on so many drugs very trippy.

I started this forum because I knew I would win. In 6th grade I was riding my new bike and I got hit by a snowplow that was going 40 mph(Why was I riding in the snow? I wasnt, it was june and I dont know why they had a snowplow driving around). So what is the damage report? Broken growth plate in my shoulder, dislocated hip/Shattered pelvis which required surgery, broken fibia and broken knee. In a body cast for 6 weeks and then a hip brace for like another 4. Well since the accident wasnt my fault (amongst other things he was speeding and didnt have a snowplow liscence) we sued the company and Ill put it this was, I wont be paying for my college education

My worst injury is not as bad as most of these. But I was as close as it gets to never walking again. First thing tin the morning on a spring day i was sking through the park and the crew had shaved all the lips of the jumps... which mad me a little bit angry.
As I came into the last jump being accustomed to this poor calibre of jump I did not speed check at the 45 foot table. The lip on this one was way different. it kick straight up at the last instant and sent me into the backseat. I cruised at least 15 feet into the flats onto rock hard spring snow. i must have dropped 30 feet and travelled 60 or more. winded and bruised... i tried to crawl out of the landing and was stopped and unable to move anymore after one crawling step.
I had a pain in my lower right back that was more excrutiating that any pain ever in the history of man. It felt like ad belt sander was sawing into my back. I was unable to move for three hours. The doctors couldn't figure out what was out of place . Later i found out that my rib had dislocated... popped off of my spine!!! if it had gone the other way it would have paralyzed my body from the nipples down.
My biggest fear inthe world now is tho losse feeling and not be able to move. i never want this to happen again.

mhm...when i was 8 i fell like 25 feet off of a cliff and was basically impalled on a steel construction rod wth my leg, a whooole lotta stitches there, something like 17 inside ..and a bunch outside...i couldnt walk for like 1 1/2 months yea that sucked a shitload, if you ever wanna see a sick scar just look at the back of my thigh the thing is like \

\ yea kinda like that...and then two season ago i fell on my shoulder, it hurt for a while so i jsut kept on skiing for the season, earlier this season i went down on the halfpipe but my upper leg was cuaght on the deck so i kinda like tore my acl (im sitll not sure) i waited for about a month to get it check out and thw first two guys instantly said its a tore acl, but then the third guy said its not, so i still just really dont know, i got back to skiing two weeks after that...super nice day of skiing...i went down to the big jump, it kicks you sooooooo high so yea i went off of it...went a lil bit too far past the landing and on landing i dislocated my shoulder, so i had to ski around with that for a while went to the docs later that night and he checked it out, gave me a sling and check my other shoulder just to compare the two you know ?..when he did that he was like dude...you have a fracture in this shoulder. it turns out that that lil incident two seasons ago, i fractured/ broke my collarbone...yup thats my really long story hope you enjoyed it eh

I think i had the funnest fall ever. There is this huge mound called the tit that we always build booters off of. there was like 3 feet of real wet heavy powder cause the hill had been sitting in the sun all day. well it had a real bad tranny and since the two people i was with were recers i wanted to show them how hardcore freeriders are. I bombed the jump and when I hit the tranny, my legs gave out and I ended up going off the lip hella fast and sitting on the tails of my skis. I just kept going farther and farther, full mooney position rolling the windows down. since the landing is super steep the farther i went the higher i got. when i finally started to come down i was about 30 ft up. I knew since the snow was like it was that it wouldnt hurt so I was laughing the whole way down. it was sick!

I have one of the stupidest injuries anywhere. I was up at stevens pass for the night with my school friends and after hitting some nice booters up on the side of tye mill, we went back down to base to catch the skyline chair. on the way down there's this bunny slope, and while going down it, i started doing some on snow 180's and stuff. so im halfway down the run on this supergroomed kiddie slope when i stop and see where alll my friends are. As im looking up the mountian, i think i hear someone say my name from behind me, so i turn around. somehow, i must have thrown myself off balance or caught an edge (dont know how that would work, but im out of possibilities) and fall flat down on the cattrack. doesnt sound bad untill you realize we didnt have snow for a week and at night most of the runs freeze. the first part that contaceted was my thumb actually, and after getting up, i found that my thumb was literally jammed into the joint. On the bus ride home my friends had turns trying to pull it back out, but it stayed like that for a week. It doesnt sound bad, but having a jammed thumb like that sucks. not only does it hurt to move your hand or grip things, eg a pole, but it also means that if you move any other fingers in your hand, you instantly feel the bones in your hand somehow pressing against the jammed joint. so overall, thats been my worst and only ski injury. kinda ironic considering the stuff i do...Moral? Avoid kiddi hills. they're there for a reason.

10 years old decided i wanted to dunk on a ten foot basket so stacked two benches on top of each other climbed to the top had to jump to reach the rim.
jumped grabed the rim but it was 8 am in the morning and there was dew on the rim so when i grabbed i slipped off breaking my left arm and right leg.
The arm did not break clean and was out of place so the doctor had to break the bone the rest of the way and then pop it into place at the same time.

I have also had stiches on about 10 occasions from hockey.

Skiing i have torn my ligaments in my right leg.
Last season still recovering torn ACL left And miniscus disk.

I SAW A GUY KILL HIMSELF AT MOUNTAIN HIGH IN CALIFORNIA.

I was on the lift and saw him flying down the hill straight and

HE RAN STRAIGHT INTO A TREE.
