I really want a pair of the new 1080s (171-the grey ones) but like the normal person i can't afford them. Should i sell both sets of skis that i own (candides and 169cm 1080s - both in excellent condition) to get the money for them or should i jsut sell one pair and not eat for a month??

OK, heres the deal, if you want a salomon factory price all you got to do is show salomon that you suport their skis/boots etc in fourms on sites like this. Salomon is worried that people are turing against their newschool gear and they want that to change. Eamil them proof that you do this and they will hook you up for real, i am looking a my silver 1080s right now, and the great part is I only had to pay $100 (shipping not included), saving money feels great, alot better than the chumps that paid full price.

well everything i've heard about the '03 180's is that they suck and that salomon messed up with these ones, well, it's true that you can never tell till you ride them but i have not heard a single good thing about them yet from anybody.

concepts eh?? never thought of that. But I've decided i'm definately not selling the candides - i love them to much! I'll just sell the 1080s and eat crappy noodles for two months.

good call with keeping the candides, sell the 1080s and buy the new concpets, dynastar is the only way to go, especially if you like your candides

You have to get the new Concepts with the sweet old school bindings the Zrr's if ya can get them , but thier hard to get. Their super stylish and super light and amazing at everything.

i thought the new salomons were sick.. i like them better than the ones last year. i demoed em onthe glasier and they kicked ass, way better than any Line ski
