From EVO:
When the Dynafit Hoji Pro Tour boot first made its debut last season, it was met with mixed reviews. People raved about the progressive flex and rock solid walk mechanism, less so about the lack of a traditional toe for use with popular touring bindings. The Dynafit Hoji Free Alpine Touring Ski Boots put those concerns to rest and could very well be the "crossover" boot of the year. With a slightly narrower last, slightly stiffer flex, and a true ISO 9523 sole compared to Hoji Pro Tour, the new Free should make even the hardest chargers happy, especially those with multi-norm alpine setups or frame touring bindings mounted on existing skis. The bomber Hoji Lock walk mode mechanism remains, the Grilamid cuff is now reinforced with short strand fiberglass fibers like the old Mercury, and the new SIDAS heat moldable liner is super comfy. Check 'em out early before they're gone.
