Warm when it needs to be, not overly so when you don't need it to be (i.e. when touring).
Also, exceptionally comfy- a great jacket to wear on a hangover !
Worth noting, it fits slightly larger than most similar jackets in this category- think about sizing down if you want a traditional snug fit, or stay on your normal size if you really feel the cold and want to add another insulating layer underneath.
