Disclaimer: I'm 5'9" and 135 so this coat is baggy on me. It's a size L.
This coat is warm. Not something for the coldest day, but def for when its noticeably cold out. You can layer under it, or wear it alone and still be comfortable with the tempature. It's not a coat to wear on especially wet days, as it's not the most water repellent. It's soft, and has nice lining. The colors don't clash, it looks cool on the mountain, and on the streets. I'm excited to wear this coat more. I'd recommend it to someone who wants a coat for the spring, mid winter snowless period, and for around town or campus.
