I like the idea a lot but I think if you could find a different font for the "long live Mcconkey" and maybe a different graphic for the skiier. something more artistic and less fabricated.
definately feeling the idea though.

try this:
use a more loose, hand written style font, you can find great free ones on dafont.com (google it) and under handwritten
maybe set it to overlay, then duplicate it, then take opacity down on both layers
as for the skier, it seems far too small
maybe find a picture of his face, a portrait
convert to black and white, select around it loosely, put a white vignette on or a gradient vignette of some sorts, then set the opacity to fairly low and set the layer to something like luminosity
play with the levels/ exposure/colour sat. of both the letteringand the subject, and the original image, and also make the lettering a bit bigger imo and i think itd be really sick

thanks dude. always looking for more PS tips. Check out some more of my edits in my pictures. I started around last year in my school but that was only for a trimester so i only got the basics pretty much.

id look into some inspiration on smashing magazine and other resources.. no offense but a guy in a racer stance does not represent mcconkey very well..
