so wallisch calls me and says... "yo, check out the armada website and look at jocobs profile" so i do so, and at the end of it, its says..."worst skitrend you witnessed?: tall tees outside of jacket and the 'brogan ride-away" hahaha in my opinion jocob is the worlds absoulute best skier, no one is even near the talent he is, his style of clothing and skiing is the best, and whoever doesnt have long blonde/brown hair covering thier one eye, or whoever doesnt wear CHEAP MONDAY skin type jeans to show off thier ass should just die. no hate just my opinion!

Stop behaving like a little child and get on with it. Not everybody likes everything and everyone in skiing. Jon and Jacob gets hated on every once in a while because of their doubles.

Hes ridiculously good, and good looking. We should all ski like him cuz he's the best there is. He's helped turn skiing into gymnastics...which is really where we should be taking the sport. Thanks Jac Strap!

 Secondly, to hate on ride away or some particular style is one thing.  To call someone out personally is classless.  To do so on a business site whose sole purpose is to market product, is toolerific.  Jacob is a successful pro...not some bitter kid on NS despite what his emo haircut and trendy favorite bands might suggest.

Even though your response smells a little underage you do make a valid point.Clearly you could question if such an answer is gaining his image and the company he works for. But to get all rowled because of something that has been said so many times before on this site is just redicoulus.......And I would like to make clear that I am not defending Jacobs since it clearly wasn´t the smartest thing to say, but I just can´t understand how so many people can react with such a fury over such a small thing.

I am just being a realist. There are infinite amount of kids with the same skill set as you at the same age. You have luck on your side, but how long will that really last?

Skiing is centered around cyclical trends and yours aligns perfectly with what people strive for right now. But 2 years from now they are going to look back on that shit and laugh, while you're treading water in the same place. And don't give me that bull shit about a true G will always stay G. That never ceases to make me giggle when it comes out of a white, upper class, private school, teenager's mouth. I know a lot of the time it's said in jest, but deep down they really think its true.

That sucks that he hated on you like that man. I'd be so upset if a pro did that on me. I think the ride-away is sick, and you are one of the only people who can pull it off. Jacob is dope too, but I think that's lame that he disrespected you like that.

  Who's furious?  I, for one, am thoroughly entertained.  I think it's funny that Jacob paints himself as this intellectual, artsy, introspective, and unique guy who name drops esoteric bands...yet he is no better than the NS "commoners" who unabashedly criticize anything and everyone daily.  It was a lame move to call Brogan by name...this isn't about this style vs. that style, it's about taking a cheap shot.  
   This smacks of the kids in highschool who were rejected (spinnnnss weeeee!), and who's response was to reframe themselves as self proclaimed outcasts...you know...those kids who would carry around kerouac and wear ironic t shirts.

Why the fuck are you guys hating on him?  Because he called out Brogan, zomg zomg no way holy shit lawlz?  No!  Why does it matter that he snowblades?  Fuck this, he's right.  Maybe Brogan won't be huge a few years from now, maybe he will be, we'll see.  I know that right now he fucking slays, but a good percent of the posts in this thread are sucking his dick!    Brogan's made his mark on skiing, and that's his afterbang...where can he go from there; afterbang in the BC?  

Brogan, I respect you because you're an amazing skier and you've made things work, but seriously, callout to callout this was fair, but now you're acting like a child along with the majority of the posts in the thread.  Come on now.  You should be over that.  At this rate you'll probably give me some shit about sticking up for a snowblader and how I suck at skiing and shit, but go ahead, I know.  Big whoop.

you are a naive motherfucker if you think thats true. there are a select few with the as much skill as him. and close to none that have gone unnoticed. with that being said, it isnt necisarily his skill that has made him as famous as he is. jacob proves it by calling out his style. hes fun to watch ski because its unique from everyone else, and not easily copied. he has a natural flow that not many have..
