Honestly, I don't like the new setup for the site. The new searchbar and nav bar are fine, but the whole new blog thing and the removal of the [IMG] codes really irks me. I don't like the fact that the post blog boxes are now super reflective of the Myspace ones, because I like the fact that NS is nothing like Myspace or Facebook. It's good that you NS admin folks are working hard there, but was this really neccessary? What was wrong with the old site? I liked the fact that people could screw up on posting pictures, it added character to the site, and now it seems like people have a considerable amount of removal from the situation, which, in my opinion, would promote more BS to be posted. It seems like there is a lot of repeated features in the new nav bar as well, what with the cults being only accessible (It's a bug, I know, but it's still 2 places to access) through the interact, when it makes more sense to only be able to see cults through the cult forums. Also, these blog boxes are rediculous. What was wrong with just pressing enter to create a line break. I doubt a lot of kids on here know much HTML, which makes NS a little less user-friendly. I liked the simplicity of the old NS, and this new, revamped one doesn't cut it for me. I'm sure you guys will tweak it, but I think strongly, that you should keep the character of the old one moreso than what you have now, because this is Newschoolers, not a Myspace spin-off.
