Winter 2012 started awesome with heavy snowfalls, cold temperatures and almost no people on the mountain. On my first competition at Axamer Lizum in January I had to change my whole line a few minutes before my run because they closed some parts of the contest face. I went too fast on a cliff and ended up with a shoulder luxation and labrum tear. I stayed at home for a week to baby my arm and the pain was almost blown away, so I decided to wait for the surgery until summer and keep on skiing more passive. It turned out to be a good choice, there where perfect conditions over weeks and we got to ski the deepest powder we have ever seen, right on my birthday in February . Thanks to Toms Boardershop Lindau for the support and everybody else out there, it was a great time! The surgery went well and I started training for next season, can't wait for it!
