When I heard about an old ski resort re-opening after an eight year hiatus, I knew that it would make an interesting story. I had a couple of days open up in my schedule and called around to assemble a last minute crew.
What I came up with was a diverse group of skiers: Brody Leven, Giray Dadali and David Wintzer. We arrived to find a sleepy mountain town with generous people, and easy access to a huge, mostly unexplored backcountry. The conditions were tough: these guys skiied lines for the camera that would have made most skiers nervous on a powder day.
