Salt Lake City, UT - November 5th, 2016 – Mother Nature hasn’t answered their prayers quite yet, she has even forced Ski Resorts across the Wasatch front to push back their opening dates a few week.
Never the less 3,000 winter outdoor enthusiast rejoiced in Liberty Park on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 to kick off winter in high spirits for the inaugural SLC Shred Fest on a arguably beautiful sunny day. The fence was lined with fingers tightly grasping and eyes peering through the holes, curious to what the festivities in Liberty Park were all about.
Presented by Oakley and Milo Sport, SLC Shred Fest brought the community together in high fashion until the 33 kegs ran dry with an overwhelmingly busy interactive sponsor village with 31 vendors, mouthwatering fragrances from five food trucks, professional lumberjack competition, ski and snowboard rail jam with features provided by Brighton Resort and Bonezone Brighton.
The $5000 in prize giveaways, live music performed by local bluegrass group, Pixe and the Partygrass Boys, acid-rock skate punk group, Hot Vodka and DJ performances from DJ Matty mo, Bastion, and headliner Point Point from Paris, France kept people dancing until the very end.
The day was filled with fun for the whole family. The highlight of course was the first ever professional lumberjack competition in Sugarhouse. There is nothing more enticing than the sound of chainsaws cutting through logs and axes being tossed across the sky.
The Inaugural SLC Shred Fest was a huge success. Salt Lake City needed a winter kick off event to diminish those winter blues and bring together the strong and positive winter outdoor community.

WHERE TO SKI IN JAPAN
As this is my third time going to Japan skiing. Skiing in Japan always delivers. Niseko is definitely worth a visit. There is so much deep powder to ski.
The backcountry is very easy accesed. And the terrain is low Alpine and easy to ride.
Going to Hokkaido, There is som much to chose from, If you want to explore other ski destinations you can easily do so.

With ski resorts closing last season, the crew kept the stoke alive by doing what they do best - building ridiculous features in the woods. From Ross trying not to hurt himself on a monoski to Will being his typical rail-god self to sharing the stoke of springtime skiing with friends, Post Season Pipe Dreams is totally tubular.

We're literally getting too old for this shit. Precision: A term typically bestowed upon the engineering of luxury cars, high-end electronics, and chemical formulations. So how could an imperfect human's actions be described as precise? By what metric, standard, or baseline would we measure the precise execution of maneuvers in relation to their relative impact on stoke? PxS=I2, or S=PxI2, or even the perception of P2=SI2? Precision being it's own stoke multiplier provides precisely the correct ratio of fuel for fun, fantastic feats and fearless functions. This slightly less than precise description, having previously been used in a moderately varied and thus precisely imprecise exact quote becomes it's own stoke transmutater, as a classic example similar to transforming human precision, in it's imperfection, into patterns perceived perfectly precise. So ponder for a moment, are these maneuvers precise due to their precision, or is their precision found in the precise achievement of a, or rather the, reaction they previously targeted to evoke, with which they, in my humble opinion, succeed precisely. And precisely why then, if top the tater is so delicious on potatoes and their fried & chipped counterparts, does nary a potato chip company offer a top the tater flavor. I've seen pepperocini & vineger, sour pickle, and even peanut butter, but not a tater topped, and I dare say, were they to, the satisfaction to the senses would be precisely similar to the satisfaction and the stoke experienced via the indulgence of Episode 7, Volume 3 - Human Being : Precise.
