The QParks Tourstop Battle ROJal was successfully held in the Snowpark Schoeneben last weekend! I will go down in Freestyle history! Sunshine and the hot vibes of the crowd all day were the only reason why the riders didn't freeze because of -19 C during the Battle ROJal. With a spring-session the Style Championship Tour and the QParks Tour stop finished in the Blue Tomato Kings Park Hochkoenig. At bright sunshine and springlike temperatures numerous riders as well as spectators enjoyed a sensational event at the Hochkoenig. At the O?Neill Roof Battle last Saturday at the Superpark Dachstein, the best riders of the QParks Snowboard Tour battled for the overall Tour victory. In a dramatic final on the rail line, the riders were once again showing off with awesome tricks. Now the overall winners are crowned and tons of goodies and more than EUR 5.000,- in prize money have found a new owner! After a journey that took 6 months, 8100 kilometers, 4 countries, 20.000 euros in prize money and an infinite number of gas station coffee and sandwiches: the QParks Freeski Tour came to its grande finale at Superpark Dachstein on Saturday the 19th of April to crown the champions of the 2013/14 season. Over in the skier's category it was the unstoppable force of Florian Geyer that swept the podium in the mens category whilst young Max Mall added another trophy to his ever-growing cabinet. Tour favorite and defending champion Jule Seifert brought home the bacon for the ladies rounding off a near perfect season. So we're now off for a long summer siesta, but rest assured we'll be back and bigger than ever next season kicking things off in December with the Blue tomato Plan P at Superpark Planai. The O?Neill Girls Shred Session went down on the 9th of June in the Superpark Dachstein.The rather small but motivated Freeski Crew consisted of Marlena Gerhard, Stefanie Mössler, Regina Rathgeb, Moni Oberreiter and the 11 year old Aliah Eichinger from Germany. Despite her young age, Aliah is already capable of some big tricks and it is more than likely that you will hear a lot from her in the near future. At this point we want to cheer for and motivate all freeski girls to attend the Girls Shred Sessions in the upcoming winter, as it?s all about good times and pushing each other to the next level in a relaxed atmosphere ? it can?t get better than that right?
