When it comes to slaying jumps Derek Spong is a silent warrior. We at Rage have worked with many talented athletes at our park shoots but Spong is always the guy to watch. His ability to make natural and unnatural spins look effortless is impressive. Last year Spong added Double corks to his arsenal further displaying his warrior like skills.
Xavier had a big slam during the prelims.

"On The Road with Solitaire" is a 12-part webisode series following Sweetgrass Productions in the making of their new 2-year project, the South American backcountry ski and snowboarding film "Solitaire." New episodes will be released on the 21st of every month.
Episode I introduces Solitaire and some of the landscapes the crew encountered in their first season of filming in the snowbound badlands of the Southern Hemisphere.
In the high desert of South America, winter takes hold, devouring bleached bones and abandoned shacks. Into these most inhospitable of lands, a handful of drifters emerge from the whiteout, ready to cast their lot on forsaken peaks both merciless and magnificent.
Solitaire fuses western-inspired tales of backcountry gambles into landscapes never before visited on film.

For Seth Morrison, skiing is much more than a sport or job, it’s a way of life. It’s not a privilege he was born with; it’s a passion he discovered on his own. Through hard work and dedication, Morrison has become one of the best skiers in the world. The Ordinary Skier traces his journey from the middle class suburbs of Chicago to the Colorado Rockies and into the underground ski-bum subculture that would eventually become Freeskiing. This is the story of how a collection of misfits turned an elite sport upside down, and how an ordinary kid chased his dream and became one of skiing’s most iconic heroes.
