Wibbity Wabs hits his very first backcountry jump, and guineas it for the boyz! Kilo lays it out like a table cloth! Scrappy Joe is about to dip on the session when he gets some insp from banged up Broms and proceeds to lace up a heater! Smelly Nelly lays it out like a table cloth, and lil' Mike shows up to the function fashionably late to bool one out like a vet! Take 3 hits an we out mane!
Well skiing is never a competition, but just like the NFL it has been known to deliver big hits, brain damage and dish out its fair shares of winners and losers. Everybody got choices, and in January '14 we arguably got a little overly-ambitious in our quest to knock off as many Dylan Thompson spots around SLC as possible.
The closeout was a peak in our Thirstyness, prisoners were claimed left and right in Cottonwood Heights that day. An 8 hour build filled with stony boolin led to the destruction of skis and a few homies. Meeks broke his eye socket and screamed like a 5th grade girl, Tone had a Cam Riley like moment and Heffy knocked it outa the park per usual. Perhaps watching all of his homies go down urged Heffy further into the backcountry, and there is no doubt that his success on one fischer, and one kitten factory ski was the first step in an inevitable transition to the Chicken Factory cult. Carbon Fiber ski's clearly hold up better than your average pelican stick!
The action happens REAL fast in EXTREME sports flicks these days. It's time for all you cuddys and bby squids to slow your roll and see how some of the individual banged up clips came to be. That's why we're creating the Amateur Boolers Blog. We go behind the stoney curtains on this one to bring you some Broll maybe A roll shots, we don't know, maybe we got the shot maybe we didn't... What's important is for all the kids to know that we are going to be bringing you as much content as possible from here on, hopefully without using up all our footy and saving some hammers for the movie. Since monkeys only have an attention span upwards of 15 seconds, we promise that we'll be keeping these edits nice and short so we can drop twice as many vids and use twice as many slappers.

When the bunk police showed up at the warehouse and confiscated the last of our fake mollywops, we thought that we were for sure going to have to cancel The Boolers Ball this season. Fortunately, our new friend Rilakkuma traveled in from China to lend a helping hand (paw) and keep us from making any abrupt decisions. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Rila, he is the bear of peace and relaxation that spends most of his time jamming out to deep house music when he's not helping Olympic caliber athletes/ washed up beach lurkers find their inner Zen. Rilakkuma has become an integral part of our loose crew even though all the Asian teeenybops have known about this soft and furless companion for a while.
Now we're sure your grandparents and relatives are asking: What are the kids' up to in 2015? And WTF is The Boolers Ball?
Since glasses prescriptions start to expire and reading often gets harder when you get older, we decided that it'd make the most sense to answer these questions in the form of an exhilarating home movie. The Boolers Ball is a fictional place that only exists in your subconscious similar to lala-land. You have lived it out in spiritual dreams and have been there during your highest moments in real life too. It is a state of Nirvana that often gets compromised by one's ego and desire. As a professional booler, it is important to maintain a certain level of self-respect and not be overcome by pride thinking you're some sort of celebrity resulting in self-destructive lifestyle choices to uphold your inflated self-perception. It is hard to get kicked out of The Boolers Ball when you are one of the founders but our evil ways will inevitably catch up to us so change them while you're ahead. Scrappy Joe Young has a lot of trouble dealing with his haters and their criticisms. Many industry professionals have described his style as forced and stereotype him as a soulless robotic comp jock. Last spring, Scrappy decided that he'd had enough with the industry's disapproval so in an attempt to "find himself," he fired his coach and decided to take some pointers from The Bunch by joining their annual Mt. Hood Spliff Sessions. Unfortunately, things didn't go so well and none of Scrappy's "bangers" were finesse'sin enough to make the movie. He was not invited back to "Creation Nation" and is most likely going to return to the comp circuit after this letdown. Please comment POSITIVE feedback below to encourage Scraps to follow his dreams as a high-spirited Soulryder instead of retreating to life as a dreary cyborg.
