In early February 2020, covid cases were starting to show up on cruise ships, Japan was having one of their worst snow years on record and the TC crew had already booked a trip into the heart of it all. Luckily, the pandemic held off just long enough for them to film an episode, capture a bunch of ridiculous phone videos and return back home safely.
I have been sleeping on these clips for a while now. But here it is!
The 3rd season of my Through The Park project from Kläppen.
I will drop 18 unseen episodes from Kimbosession 2019 from tomorrow on.

I have been putting this video together over the duration of the last year, asked as many skier and boarders as I knew around the area and put this in motion to show the boys in the east coast still got it!

After being locked down for the majority of the spring ski season, the crew sessions the legendary Milly tubes at Brighton and goes full human-powered park ski mode (with help from a chainsaw) at the Wasatch Academy Cabin in the woods. Yup! This is the fastest graphic in the world. No, really.... it is! Everyone else tried making lighter touring skis from the inside out, instead of from the outside in, ahaa! That's why these skis are really, really fast on the outside, but deep down inside they charge harder than the rest of them. You'll have your head cocked back laughing as you pass the spandex skimo's on the way uphill... and down!
Of course this genius idea was conceived by none other than "Ahmet's Brother", the skier previously known as Giray Dadali. We decided to keep this collaboration extremely limited since we could only mine enough of the "skimo-graphic" material to print 350 pair on the new "Slacker" ski. In total we melted down over 1,000 pair of XC skis to build these. I then hand-signed and numbered each pair. Grab yours before these previously thought to be impossible enigmas wrapped inside a riddle sells out!

2020 was an interesting year, to say the least. Spring sessions getting cut short, hills and borders closing due to covid, all of these bumps along the way, and through it all, we would like to present to you, SPEEDBUMP. This season held more challenges for us than we could have thought possible, but it allowed for a new vision, a change of pace. Our SPEEDBUMPS this season felt more than we could handle, but come to find that these obstacles were not negative at all, rather the world's way of showing that we maybe need to slow down, take a step back, and enjoy the ride. SPEEDBUMP releasing this fall!
