If there?s anything that we can say for certain after spending the past three weeks reviewing this year?s Superunknown entries, its that the talent pool has never been deeper, and there?s more variation in style, influence, and inspiration than ever before.
Superunknown XII drew in nearly 100 entries from around the globe- some were all street, others all park. some all pow and big mountain, and others a mix of everything. Figuring out how to compare and judge one against the next was a huge challenge, and while we can?t say that we have the perfect formula, after spending countless hours consulting with athletes, media, and the Level 1 staff and rewetting most of these entries more times than we can count we have a list of 17 Semi-Finalits, and 9 Finalists that we stand behind.
We?ll be dropping Semi-Finalist all week long, starting with four today. On Friday afternoon we?ll kick off the fan poll for you all to choose the 10th spot in Finals, so watch closely, spread the word, and help us figure out who should join the other Finalists in April for a shot at taking home the title!

Why not eh? I'd lvoe to get some mroe Chug Life footage from Sweden. Reminisce about Chug Life 4 a bit.
Back in October 2009, Salomon and Freeskier magazine launched a contest asking skiers to submit video of their backyard jib set-ups. The prize: Having the Salomon Team move into your house and session your set-up for the weekend. Hilden, Nova Scotia will never be the same!
Nick Martini, Alexis Godbout, and Matt Walker meet up in Boston, USA for an urban road-trip through New England. Over the course of ten days these guys slay and destroy 12 rails, update their tall tee wardrobe, try true east coast lobster, and make friends with local law enforcement.
Filmed 2 or 3 days with my brother Andrew in Colorado, he is only 13 years old. we got some pretty good shots. check it out
We check in with the Salomon team for one last time this season and take a look forward at what is coming up in season 4 of Salomon Freeski TV. It’s been a winter of ups and downs, but one thing is sure… we’ve had a lot of fun along the way. Rapper, AllStar, lays down another original track for the final episode of season 3.
Filmed over the course of SPRING BREAK (March and April)! So not only were we in the Spring Break mindset, but a handful of my friends were in Colorado visiting! This one took a lot of work so I hope you enjoy our SPRING BREAK!
EY THUR, Keep a look out for more Trap-isodes dropping throughout the week from HOOD, Stay Tuned, Stay Blessed, and keep it icy Trap House Govy

Wanna win a free heli trip? Nice, so do we. But until that day comes, feast your eyes on our first heli shoot of the year in Whistler Blackcomb's terrain park.
Here are some shots that I filmed 2 to 3 years ago. I don't have to much footage from this winter yet so I decided to make an edit out of old terrain park footage. It was filmed at Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper, Keystone, and Vail. It also has a lot of different skiers in the edit as well.
Pretty much the best way to end the season on the Minnesota glacier
In between traveling & finishing rehab on my new knee, I spent some good times getting stronger on my skis in Colorado. I?m happy to call Breckenridge my home this season as Breck & Keystone park are always on point. It has been a bit if a struggle to get my head clear again, & a lot of work to ski with ease and trust myself. Its quite a challenge to find the balance to link my head, body & filming all together & try to push it a little more everyday. I am glad to put out a little transition edit with the song I?ve had on repeat in my car & ear buds for a month straight haha! I?m in California now making an edit in the sun! Keep it real, Maude ?
My shots filming this season in the Whistler, BC backcountry. Big thanks to Scotty Titterington, Brandon Kelly, JF Lefebvre, and Andrew Napier for filming.
After failing numerous times to grab the headlining sponsor, Monster Energy, Steve decides to quit skiing. But with just the right motivation from one of his idols Steve finds his way again.
This is an edit I filmed alongside of competing and filming for the Hot Chocolate project last season. It was fun to go and just sesh different spots, film with friends and not worry about the outcome. Massive thanks to the homies behind the cameras and my sponsors Faction skis, Oakley, Tazza and Full Tilt Boots for supporting me through the season.

Long over due, James 'Woodsy' Woods shows us what he does best in this short edit at Breckenridge, Colorado. Filmed & edited by Rob Embling at Unity Productions, presented by Monster Energy.
Eric Pollard spends most of his days on snow looking for the perfect natural park in the powder .. this afternoon on his home turf he made riding a man-made park look as natural as a run though the backcountry.
Vite C's few hours of filming at snowflex before a very necessary trip to the hospital. First glidecam use- worked alright
Mark (14 years old) and I got a chance to film again this year on new years eve. Even with the variable lighting and Mark being sick, he still managed to kill it super hard. Filmed on: Panasonic AC-160AP with Rode NTG-2 mic and GoPro Hero3black. Support: Glidecam HD-4000 and Manfrotto 755 legs with 502HD head. Edited in FCP7
