We Are The Faction Collective #S01E01 follows the kick off to winter in Colorado. Filmed and edited by Etienne Merel in Colorado at Breckenridge, Copper and Keystone. Featuring Faction athletes (in order of appearance): Candide Thovex, Tim McChesney, César Fabre, Etienne Merel, Duncan Adams, Simon D'artois, Mark Nowakiwsky, Cody Cirillo and Adam Delorme. For the past few years, Kevin and Mitchell have had an idea to build a jump line similar to a freeride bike line. We have seen some cool tracks people have built in recent years, but we wanted to build one on a bigger scale with higher consequences. In the 2012 preseason, we had almost finished a track after 3 days of construction when a warm spell hit and melted all our jumps. This april, we finally regained our motivation and got to work. We couldn't have done it without the help of Patrik Suwak, Giray Dadali, Matt Heffernan, and Abner Wyman hiking 40 pound bags of salt up grizzly gulch and digging. We finally finished the 7 feature line after 2 weeks of digging, shaping, salting, snowing and more digging. We don't think we would do it again, but are proud to present to you the "Death Track."

It was hard not to shed a tear watching this after the events of today. J.P simply showed how well rounded of a skier he was in this part. From flairs in the halfpipe, from some of the earliest urban rails, and of course back country lines and booters, J.P was the boss as proved completing the loop. My thoughts and condolences to his friends and family. Here is a small piece of his legacy.

spent the past couple days turnin casual laps with my homies in the molesquad, and started jumping again. lookout for GINUARY dropping soon from the molesquad. then GOODENOUGH invaded my suburban apartment and things got kinda weird. They are a really sketchy group of boys, all super hung. They didnt talk to me much when they were in my aprtment, mostly just talked to eachother about "bangin H" and "crushin fist." They kept calling me a "Gash" which i am not 100% sure on what that means, but i am 100% sure that its a compliment :) If I can help it I wont be hanging out with them much mroe. Peace! The Inspired Demo Tour has begun! The Rig is up and running, crew united, mountains blessed with snow and so we go thru a journey of what is going to be one of the most challenging, fun & unique experiences of a life time.
