Instagram shot from Laax at new years. Went a little too big and took it to Gucci Plateau
At the age of 2 my parents brought me to the slopes of Le Semnoz and learned me what would become later a reason to live. It was important for me to produce a piece in this resort where lots of kids from Annecy and its surroundings come enjoy skiing at its finest.
We had best of times building stuffs we dreamed about once we were kids, driving home from the resort every day and sharing this passion with so many friends. Big up to the filmers and photographers for their dedication : Alex Beaudoing, Robin Terry, Thomas Robert, Melissa Coursol, Nicolas Gilg, Paul Chareille, Joey Delavay, Matteo Cuny and Quentin Tshudi :)
Thanks to my sponsors who make everything easier everyday : Volkl, Dalbello, Marker, Dakine, Oakley, GoPro and Feiyu Tech. I hope you'll enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed filming it.

The stars aligned for this shoot in March of 2012. After suffering through a remarkably dry winter, a storm rolled through southwest Montana, blanketing our hometown of Bozeman, Montana in over a foot of new snow. We have been looking at this gap for years, but the skatepark is usually frozen solid when there's enough snow to set it up. We had to act fast, because we knew the snow wouldn't last long. Dash and Noah hopped on a semi-truck from Spokane while Shay and the rest of the crew worked tirelessly to remove snow from the bowl and set up the gap, which measured 50 feet from the lip of the jump to the top of the landing. Dash and Noah arrived at a truck stop west of town and were geared up and ready to go less than an hour later. The session went off without a hitch. Our high-powered winch was able to pull the athletes across the bowl at more than 50 miles an hour. The next day, the snow was mostly melted and all that remained was a behemoth mound that served as the take off the previous night. Check out all the action in this excerpt from "Act Natural," available now on DVD and iTunes.

Adventures In Transition - Stick To Your Guns
It's sort of like a dream right? Live in the place you grew up with a handful of your best friends and ski every single day. It's tough to convince yourself that this is real life, or even a possibility. This life was never planned - and it was certainly unexpected to end up back where it all started, but not a surprise. With another year in the bag exploring areas from the past and re-discovering new places to roam in the backcountry, there's no doubt in my mind I'm right where I want to be.
I'm proud of where I am from and proud to share the dream with so many close close friends. Thank you Khai and LJ for coming to my make-believe world and making AIT a reality. Thanks to Bobby Brown who made the entire Montana trip come to life, you are a true friend and I am grateful for the support you've given. And the biggest thank you of all to Jake Strassman - the creative overlord of all we do, AIT will have a lasting presence in skiing because of the heart you have put into it.

5 of the last 6 summers I have spent on Mt. Hood. I had nothing to train for this past summer so I skied for myself and accomplished goals that I have had for a long time. If this was my last summer on Hood, I can step away knowing I finished my way!
Big thanks to Windell's Camp, Armada, Saga and 4BI9!
