Snowpark Zermatt has become an annual summer pilgrimage for snow-hungry skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. Perfectly highlighted in the Zermatt Glacier Days webseries over the past three years, the park opened again last weekend and the setup, is once again, the most creative and interesting setup in the world at this time of year. Head shaper Marcel Brunisholz has moved on, and but the hype created over the past summer seasons has allowed the shape crew, which still includes SuperUnknown finalist Andrin Tgetgel and tons of other rippers, to order more and crazier rails, as well as the resources to let their imaginations run wild on the setup. Matteo Ferris, who now heads up the shape team, has been part of the crew for some years now.

The huge down-flat/waterfall-down rail is a definite highlight... sure to be a regular Instagram star.
One of the new features designed by Matteo Ferris and Tato Renzo Chiala.
And the gang was out in force this weekend, showing what the park has to offer.

Along with being probably the best park on the planet in the summer months, it has a great vibe too. It's hard to beat chilling at Testa Grigia after a good morning's shred... so I'll be in Zermatt for the fourth year running in a couple of weeks and I'll have some Newschoolers swag with me for those who come say what's up. Hopefully, see you up there!
