Reflections of what skiing/snowboarding and the mountains have meant to me as we head into the winter season...
A trip to beat the heat or at least make some turns on snow through the middle of it.
To all you fine folks on the lift or rope tow shouting stoke at the random passerby, cheers! This ones for you!
Maybe you're not the best skier on the mountain, maybe you didn't have as many opportunities as someone else, but that's okay.
Yesterdays pow might not be as good today, but the vibes might be even better...
Keep your friends close, keep your ski friends closer!
Skiing is all what you make of it. Let's have fun out there!
The ski industry has long relied on foreign workers to make up for gaps in their labor force. Is it an opportunity to live the American dream, or a convenient loophole to avoid paying a better wage?
For the most part we're all out there for the same reasons. If you're not having fun you're doing something wrong.
Like anything thing else, skiing has good days, and bad days, but what about those other days?
Over the years we've seen some wild setups, but here are the best contests/events from the past to now.
Quarantine sucks and summer isn't winter, but here's what a few members have been doing to pass the time and stay active. Summer setups, skate ramps, inline, etc.
Enjoy the turns you had and get stoked for the future, rather than dwell on the past!
We're socially distant but we're in this together...
Powder fever, and skiing in general makes us crazy sometimes. Given the current situation it's important to stay safe, and stay local.
