Your fucking right. I ski out of Buffalo new york at a place called Buffalo ski club. It has about a 500ft vert. I wish I could just ski out west for a week. Out thier you have such a better chance of actually becoming good. Those kids who are shipped out to whistler or Hood in the summer by their Rich parents all better understand how good they have it. I can only dream about such a thing.

yo freak. i live in syracuse ny which has worse skiing than even buffalo. as for complaining about parents buying their kiddies ski camp. get a mother fucking job if your parents wont pay for you. i went to high north last year on my own dollar so do fucking complain. i had to wash golf carts for rich snobs for two years before i saved enough to go to camp. im sure that there are plenty of minimum wage jobs for lazy asses like yourself in Buffalo. SO QUIT YOUR BITCHING AND GET A JOB.

but... do you gave rails and big kickers/table in Buffalo and NC? Cause we only have Blue Square and Green Circle tables and no rails... but we got good snow so it makes up for it.

I would rather have good snow or powder anyday than have a park, but we do have good tables and other shit back here, Im going out west this winter for the first time which should be so rad

wow, I think that was the first article I ever wrote on this site. :)

Well you know how it is skifreak... hey man but you can do what I did, save up your money and do summer camp... if you go late in the season (August) you can get a good deal for less than a grand... totally worth it in my opinion. And even at a small resort, I've come to realize there are endless possiblities as long as there's sufficient snow.

Make shit happen for you. I skied out of a place with 200ft of vert, I cant say it sucked because I had a lot of fun, but I wanted more. Anyway, I worked my ass off to go to high north twice, then ski that shit in the winter, and now I will be skiing out west (college). Set your priorities, if its freinds and a nice car then so be it, if its skiing than go for that. I chose skiing, whereas all my freinds always have money, nice cars and shit like that.

Yeah, listen to what Willy said. I also live in the midwest and ski many places under 200ft of vert. Sure it sucks compared to out west, but it is still skiing. This summer I have saved up just enough for as pair of twins and bindings. Hopefulley enough for a season pass. Its all about how bad you want it. Kids buy stereos, cars, computers. I spend all mine on skiing and surfing!
