A long, long time to mammoth, maybe 5 hours or more (I think). Only 3 hours to squaw.

Fuck! 3 hrs to Squaw, if you drive a ferrari, and there is no traffic what so ever. Usually takes me at least 4, can take 6 if it's snowing.
Mamoth is much farther.

i live 1 1/2 hours out of Tahoe......and it takes me at least 4 hours to get to mammoth

How the hell does it take you 4 hours to get to Squaw. I live in the East Bay and Saturday morning at 5am I can make it up in 2 1/2 hours. On a good day during the winter it takes 3 hours. In a snow storm it takes 4.

from the napa valley it took me 9 hrs to get to mammoth on a friday night with traffic. I came back another way, went up 395 and hit 80 @ reno and that took me 7.5 without any traffic.. just plan for a hell of a long ride, thats all
