Replying to J Skis The Vacation Prep

Hi Newschoolers,

I haven’t bought new skis in over 5-6 years. I’m pretty out of the loop now on what do I do with brand new skis. Finally bought some new j skis, the vacations.

And I’m looking for some advice on how to prepare the skis. Wax them? Do something with the edges? Detune?

I ski 70 park 30 all mountain. And the last thing I want to do is catch an edge on a rail day one and eat shit.

What do you guys do when you get new skis?
