Mount point on blade optics

Hey!



Have anyone experimented with the mount point of the line blade optic 104s? I just copped the 178s and they look so nice at around -4cm with the rocker but im not sure because of the metal.

Any clues?

I had mine +2 from rec for a while (-5 from core I think) and I liked em. I was doing all mountain with a sprinkle of park though and have since moved to rec mount. - 4 from core is fine if you trying to do some more park on them

-4 is a sick spot for that ski, it charges real hard and grips real good on soft snow but it’s still super playful and balanced

I will not visit the park more than the last laps of an amazing day. Do you think i compromise alot of downhill performance at +2?

thanks! So i wont comprimize too much of downhill performance by going +2/3cm?

It's really specifically the carving performance, like you won't be able to drive the tips to get the edges to lock up to the same degree in a carve. You'll have to be more upright which will limit edge hold/stability at high speeds

Seriously though, probably go with the recommended mount point? If you want to be more than 1-2cm forward of that buy a freestyle oriented ski.
