Replying to Camcorders with the 3ccd/ grainy look

Basically asking for tips regarding camcorders. I am planning on creating longer parts but still want that old 3ccd look (vx1000, hvx etc.). I wanna be able to pass it to friends to film so having it be a little easier to film is an upside. Reliable zoom is also a pretty big priority. I have been looking at a few cameras but the ones that seem to make the most sense is the hvx200 or the hmc150. Anyone got any tips?
