Replying to Zootcountry, My greatest idea yet
You all love Zootspace and park/street skiing, But backcountry skiing is so raw; it's just a human, a untouched mountain, and skis. So what is the biggest con of today's backcountry skiing? Price, those binding, skis and skins cost at least a grand, not to mention you need a probe, beacon, shovel, and one of em backpacks that cost like 700$ and might save you from an avalanche if you lucky. Here comes the idea: what if the Zootspace guys instead of doing street(Temporarily of course), skied in the backcountry. Allow me to paint the picture: a nice vibrant and warm HVX200, and people in 2 feet of powder wearing only sweatshirts, beanies(preferably arsenic shorties) and questionably waterproof pants. Their skis of course would be Vishnu wides, with sketchy second hand touring bindings and duck taped skins. Maybe they even get lucky and get there neighbors 1990 snowmobile that breaks down every mile. Just image all the pillows, log rides, and cliff that could even make a man with a extremely strong will cream on the spot. Talk about co... co.... core skiing. I would be surprised if they didn't take TheMadLad7's video idea and profit. Zootcountry
