X Games are January 17-20 in Aspen, and the US Open is the weekend after that in Vail. Just trying to see how many of yall will be around the Vail area prior to the open. Dynastar is going to be putting on a Pro/Am film and photo jam session in Beaver Creek, on the 22 or 23. The all day event will be followed by a party in the village with prizes from all the companies present (sponsor list still to be compiled) as well as food and the latest ski flicks from the top producers. Dynastar Pro Team members including Chriton and 3 Phils will be there along with members of the Dynastar Flow Team. Open to all ages and abilities, pro clinics on pipe and rails, lunch at the pipe, demo dynastar skis, and photographers from the biggest mags, plus videographers from major film producers.
As an organizer of this event, I am trying to get the opinions of the core riders to gather input on this event, and try to make some early estimates on numbers. Please msg me or post your imput below if you have some ideas!

it sounds like it would work really nice. a live band might help, that usually draws a lot of people to see the music as well as ride

It's expensive, but make some of thee most technical rails the ski industry has scene, and it'll get mad play in all the vids. skiers are finally ready for it. plus a couple rails that are semi easy to get on and off and watch people invert and cork onto them. I'd say this next year is going to be another huge breakthrough fr skiing in halfpipe and rails. everyone is hitting halfpipe switch fairly decently now.
