Replying to Diversity in skiing

I was talking to one of my best-friends today, who is black, about skiing and how much I love it and how he should get into it. He asked me if there are any professional black skiers, I said yes of course there are, but when I was thinking about it I could really only think of Deninis Ranalter. I know that skiing is a rich white mans sport, but I was still surprised by the lack of diversity within the sport and the industry.

As skiers, what can we do to improve accessibility and diversity within the sport? I really just want to see as many people having fun sliding on snow as possible.
