mystery3Whole mountain playground or nah?
pissnu_skisI might not be the most qualified to recommend skis but armada JJs?
SubliminalSteezI currently have a 2021 pair of K2 poachers that I ride for park and all mountain. I'm used to skiing strictly park skis in Minnesota and out west but want to add a new pair before I move out to Denver next summer for work. Any suggestions on an all around ski to purchase that will allow me to tackle more of the mountain than just my park skis? Curious on what you use aside from your park skis.
mitcheyI love my jeffreys. I have them in a 108, but looks like they're coming in a 110 this year. Such a fun all mountain ski. Stiff enough to charge shit but still playful and a lot of fun for jibbing around
SubliminalSteezHave you used them on any deeper snow or pow days? I think that ski would be great if it can handle that without being a true powder ski since I would get limited used out of a pair that's around 120mm underfoot I think.
mitcheyI got a few deeper days (1.5-2 feet of fresh) in on them last season and they ripped. Granted I'm pretty light for my height (150lbs, 5'11) but they can definitely hold their own in powder. 110 is pretty wide and they have a ton of rocker on both tips and tails which helps w the float. Unless you are gonna be skiing knee deep every day, which it sounds like you won't be because you aren't looking for a dedicated pow ski, you'll probably be ok. Some people may disagree with me here, but I wouldn't want to go wider than 110 for a daily driver anyway
ColoradoSkiBenchetler 100. Super sick for powder, cuz the powder here isn’t to deep and that will keep you up well. Also good all mountain, light, good flex take them into the park. Really good just all around. Although I’ve heard varied opinions on if they get flimsy at speed so do some research.
