Blaeberry River, Golden BC. That was a crazy hike. I ski toured 42km in 8.5hrs. The loop took me around the 22km bridge, up a clear cut and around a recently build forest service road and back the the 10km bridge and back to the car. All those peaks at nearing 3000m. So many accessable bowls and faces.
First pair of pants I’ve made two layers of water proof ribstop, extra extra baggy with a 32ish inseam and about 40 waist. Gotta add some belt loops but other than that I’m done.
Stoked to start rehab and crush it!! Also glad my mom came out, I just got stressed and she was worried as all mothers get mom grateful she made the drive and is here to support me.

Haha i guess they asked my pain level a while before that and I said 4. I woke up again in the worst pain of my life like everything had been dumped from my body so that was my “I am in incredible pain” face.
i asked them to please break my kneecap so I could have a sense of relief 😂

Get some rest during recovery. Keep wiggling your toes, roll your ankle/foot around in circles when you can. It will help with the blood flow. Eat some extra fiber due to the pain meds, your insides will thank you. Glad to hear your mom is there to give you support, hang in there and keep a smile on your face, you got this! Rehab is just around the corner and you will be back on your bike before you know it. Sending good speedy vibes for recovery.
