BigPurpleSkiSuitLet's go full conspiracy and say his parents somehow faked his death and he's in another country now.
I generally stay far away from conspiracy theory nonsense, but I am for this for the pure reason that it would be incredible if he all of a sudden showed up 5 years from now in North Korea or something wild.
DeebieSkeebiesHow do you dump remains in a swampy area in florida and not have gators eat it, smh.
From what I remember from some high school report I did...
Gators are not scavengers generally - they can be, but they usually like their food live unless theyre pretty hungry and out of options.. They are opportunistic predators, and usually feed on prey drive. Generally theyre smaller than you think - less than four feet from nose to tail (and a lot of it will be tail) they usually go after birds and fish and crabs. Sometimes larger rodents like raccoons taking a drink on the waters edge. They have a natural fear of humans.
Theyre quite unlikely to go after a dead human corpse just laying there since its too big for most, and not very meaty or easy to eat unless its chunked up. We humans have a bunch of thick bones around the most meaty parts of us - unlike fish who have bones that are easy to manage - even for humans, or birds who have hollow, brittle, bird bones that gators can crunch up easy..
I would imagine the insects would do far more damage to the corpse.
