Not sure I agree with you but this brings up an interesting question. How differently would everyone have approached COVID if it didn't break out during an election year? Take away the political stakes how much would have changed, likely for the better? This goes for both of the political sides.

The broad picture with the vaccine is that we need as many people globally to take it so we can hit herd immunity in the least amount of time. Otherwise, there is more time for variants to develop which could render current vaccines obsolete and lead to more people dying.

I don't watch a lot of Tucker but from what I've seen he has sited numbers from VAERS which is definitely relevant when discussing vaccines. Is his rhetoric damaging? Maybe.
