zuesmy life never changed during covid except I work from home now. I'm unvaccinated and I still do what I used to. What an ignorant statement
Craw_DaddyYou guys should probably stop politicizing it then...
let's not pretend that liberals didn't reject the lab leak hypothesis despite the evidence, the usage of hydroxychloroquine despite the evidence, and accepted the blatant manipulation of covid test data by the CDC during Trump's presidency. This whole thing is a Mexican stand-off of bullshit and it's so fuckin tiring. You guys regurgitate whatever Don Lemon, Steven Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Rachel Maddow, copy-paste any other liberal sycophant, says and think you're smart for doing so. You look down on people for disagreeing with you when YOU ARE JUST AS UNINFORMED. You don't know shit about science because if you did then you would understand that every theory presented is by its very nature FALSIFIABLE. Science does not deal in absolute truths. Liberals don't "believe in science" they believe in dogma spoon-fed to them by CNN.
SO maybe if you guys just shut the fuck up and stoped shaming people for 2 seconds conservatives would be more willing to take the vaccine.
just a thought

eheathyou're definitely vaccinated bro, we all know you are.
zuesI'd have to say i was worried about covid initially since I smoked. Now that I'm over that bullshit I have no fear of it and one of the reasons I don't need the vax.
"Just get go get it" is the dumbest shit i've heard in a while.
hdubsThat goes for conservatives too. We need more free thinking on both sides of the aisle
eheathYou said months ago you were gonna have to get one for work, I know you got it bro
zuesmy life never changed during covid except I work from home now. I'm unvaccinated and I still do what I used to. What an ignorant statement
Craw_DaddyTrump has been ousted as president and silenced on social media. he was the one fanning the flames on the right side of the aisle and that has been dealt with. This is mainly a problem with center-left corporate democrats being pompous assholes about vaccines.
LonelyWhen did he get silenced?
AndrewGravesSVApparently deplatformed = silenced cause Twitter and Facebook banned him?

AndrewGravesSVApparently deplatformed = silenced cause Twitter and Facebook banned him?
Craw_Daddydid you even read what I wrote you god damned moron? I said SILENCED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. learn to fuckin read!
zuesBanning speech and labeling it as hate speech because you disagree with it is the real issue imo.
AndrewGravesSVHey yeah fair play man I missed the social media part. Dumbass bootlickers need to pick a stance on whether private companies have free reign or not cause I'm tired of the hypocrisy where people defend bakers refusing to make cakes for gay weddings but are big mad about a private company removing someone from their userbase.
The broad picture with the vaccine is that we need as many people globally to take it so we can hit herd immunity in the least amount of time. Otherwise, there is more time for variants to develop which could render current vaccines obsolete and lead to more people dying.
I get that its scary that the vaccine could make you sick for a day, we don't know the possible long term health effects, and needles are spooky but ffs if you're confident your body can handle Covid then it can probably handle diluted Covid too. I would bet the people who are generally health conscious don't correlate well with people not getting the vax anyways.
ElcheapoSmart people get vaccinated so they can go do what they use to do, the people that won't are just too stubborn/ignorant fir their own good
SavageBiffThat’s not true, many people have different reasons, don’t generalize that doesn’t help
asparagusthey banned him because they were worried he was gonna instigate another capitol hill type event
zuesyea whats happened to all the talk about trump putting kids in cages. It's still going on under Biden but it's not longer mentioned.
We stop the construction of an oil pipeline and now gas is up 66%.
skiermanStopping a pipeline for exporting Canadian crude oil to countries outside the U.S. lead to higher gas prices within the U.S.?
Tell me more.
zuesOh wow wrong again you stupid fuck.
skiermanFrom the source you're quoting... https://www.nrdc.org/stories/what-keystone-pipeline#whatis
"Will the pipeline lower gas prices?
Dirty energy lobbyists claimed developing tar sands would protect our national energy security and bring U.S. fuel prices down. But NRDC and its partners found the majority of Keystone XL oil would be sent to markets overseas (aided by a 2015 reversal of a ban on crude oil exports)—and could even lead to higher prices at U.S. pumps."
Damn bruh.
zuesWell we wouldn't be sending oil overseas when there are people waiting in line and we have a shortage of it now. I know you're dumb but try to think outside of the box for once. Your dementia boy president is making everything worse and gas prices are just one of them.
skiermanLet me translate this for everyone... "I'm a stupid asshole whose lies got exposed by my own source because I'm a Fox News puppet that cannot think for myself."
Craw_DaddyThis is mainly a problem with center-left corporate democrats being pompous assholes about vaccines.
Craw_DaddyI love how I'm trying to make a point that liberals need to stop making things political and the first thing you bring up is the gay wedding cake case.
you're a fuckin genius man.
AndrewGravesSVHey relax daddy, I just pointed out a bit of hypocrisy thats all.
Were you really trying to make the point of how liberals make everything political?
Last I checked you forced this partisan bullshit cause someone mentioned how vaccination rates are falling along party lines which is literal data. People who vote Republican are less inclined to get the vaccine thats a fact. You can extrapolate all you want from why that is but these people need to get on board with getting it so we can reach herd immunity. Personally I think part of the blame lies with conservative media and leadership's mixed messaging about how serious the disease is and the value of getting vaccinated.
Liberals shaming people for not getting the vaccine is stupid and I think ultimately counterproductive to the goal of getting as many vaccinated as possible. That being said, I think if you're healthy and don't get the vaccine you should feel guilty for not doing your part.

Craw_Daddybro you're the one bringing up the gay wedding cake court case in a thread about coronavirus vaccines, and it's as a rebuttal to... I'm really not sure, I guess my factual statement that the former president of the US is silenced on social media (I'm a hypocrite for mentioning that according to you). like you're just finding random things to be argumentative about at this point. You liberals sure do love to argue about inconsequential bullshit, and in bad faith, I might add. You knew I was talking about social media earlier and chose to ignore it.
So anyway back to the subject at hand... I can show you pictures of liberals getting vaccine tattoos to show they're not conservatives. Go look at the threads over on r/politics right now for all the evidence you need. There are countless examples of liberal media intentionally skewing or outright fabricating data over the past year.
https://www.newschoolers.com/videos/watch/1004455/Saagar-Enjeti--New-Details-REVEAL-Fauci--Media-Coverup-Of-Lab-Leak-Hypothesisis it any wonder that conservatives are now hesitant to get the vaccine when the left is basically telling them that to do so would be in violation of their own political identity? My point is that people on the left should stop and you seem to agree with this point
so thanks for conceding my point to me in the most roundabout way possible. I guess we actually agree on something, you stupid liberal pussy.
Conservative media is not the problem here. show me one mainstream conservative news source that is actively telling people NOT to get the vaccine. I won't hold my breath because you won't find one. That's fringe conspiracy theory nonsense. The problem lies in the attachment of public health to political identity which is COMING FROM THE LEFT and a lack of education causing mistrust of vaccines.

SavageBiffCan we ban this fool for his homophobic remarks already, I mean I think that carries more ban weight than a sego meme eh mods?
zuesLmao oh look you bring up more media based items when i'm talking about simple economics.
Here's you .
270on420outNot against it. If you want to get vaccinated, that’s good! I’m all for it! I’m young and healthy, i don’t need it and I don’t have time to get it anyway.

AndrewGravesSVFucking whoosh lol
I just pointed out how conservatives defend private businesses being able to do whatever they want until trump gets booted from twitter or some dr seus books stop being published. That's hypocritical dumbass.
I think shaming people for not getting the vaccine is counterproductive like i said. I also think that conservative media and leaders have had mixed messaging about the virus and vaccine which is a big part of why vaccination rates are falling along party lines. I don't give a fuck that conservative media is now encouraging getting the vaccine the damage was already done with how it wasn't taken seriously from the get go. Trump probably could have won reelection if he just listened to medical professionals, had consistent messaging, and developed a competent response. Its not liberals fault the right distanced themselves from public health, stop playing victim.
Am I really expected to feel bad that the facts over feelings crowd is being shamed for not getting a free vaccine?
TOAST.Come on man, leave this thread, you already proved that what you say has 0 merit with the blood donor remarks.
zuesmy life never changed during covid except I work from home now. I'm unvaccinated and I still do what I used to. What an ignorant statement
Craw_DaddyDid you guys know that you have a much higher chance of dying from the covid vaccine than you do of being murdered with an ar15. Pretty interesting!

SavageBiffYour a fucking moron, your obviously from a very poor area, and your parents are obviously from a very poor area, which I’m not making fun of, the thing is, you dumb poorly educated scumbags aren’t privy to the truth, can’t except it and just spread your stink, there’s nothing interesting or humorous about you, and as far as ar15s go, it’s a shame your entire family can’t change places with some of the victims of mass shootings, world would be better off without you and your childish, immature, ignorant hateful nonsense and you obviously have a severe obviously inherited psychological and mental impairment
.MASSHOLE.Anyone remember the name Didier Raoult?
For those who don't recognize the name, he was one of the preeminent scientists to tout HCQ as a viable COVID treatment option. He put together a paper that examined the results of a small clinical trial using HCQ and azithromycin as a potential treatment regime. The results were later touted by many HCQ advocates across the globe, including one Donald Trump.
Unsurprisingly, the results turned out to be quite suspect. The trial design was exceedingly poor, so much so that other scientists called them into question. In a "shocking" turn of events, one of the scientists who criticized the published paper is now being sued by Raoult after finding questionable conduct in 62 other studies of his.
But that hasn't stopped people (like Craw_Daddy) from STILL believing HCQ is a viable treatment option. It's not. There have been countless RCT studies indicating otherwise, but because ONE flawed non-RCT study promoted by Trump and then other conservative talking heads and politicians showed positive effects people still believe it works.
Craw_DaddyYeah it's totally just a coincidence that hospitalizations dropped like a rock as soon as they started handling that stuff out like candy in India...
zuesi heard exercise and healthy eating is the best vaccine.
.MASSHOLE.Yeah because India is doing SO well with COVID right now?
https://www.wsj.com/articles/indias-covid-19-crisis-leaves-nation-in-grief-11622135992
Dude, WHO, CDC, FDA, NIH, and other international health bodies have all stated HCQ has minimal to no effect on COVID. RCTs have confirmed this.
Do you understand how clinical trials work? RCTs are the gold standard. If something fails MULTIPLE RCTs then it does not work in the examined setting. Full stop. That's what HCQ did. It failed multiple RCTs, all designed to examine a potential effect on COVID.
SavageBiffYour a fucking moron, your obviously from a very poor area, and your parents are obviously from a very poor area, which I’m not making fun of, the thing is, you dumb poorly educated scumbags aren’t privy to the truth, can’t except it and just spread your stink, there’s nothing interesting or humorous about you, and as far as ar15s go, it’s a shame your entire family can’t change places with some of the victims of mass shootings, world would be better off without you and your childish, immature, ignorant hateful nonsense and you obviously have a severe obviously inherited psychological and mental impairment
.MASSHOLE.FFS are you serious? Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham are the worst when it comes to this. Shockingly, Hannity isn't that bad relative to these two.
Now, Tucker Carlson hasn't actually said "do not get the vaccine" verbatim but he has come pretty damn close. He's peddling tons of misinformation, whether it's via incomplete data, generalizations, or just gross mischaracterization.
Ingraham isn't much better.
Perhaps you can explain why it is that both he and Ingraham have promoted two known anti-COVID vaccine figures in Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Alex Berenson?
Or why half of all Americans who name Fox News as their primary news source believe the debunked conspiracy theory claiming Bill Gates is looking to use a coronavirus vaccine to inject a microchip into people and track the world’s population? For reference, just 15% of MSNBC viewers believe the same.
Craw_DaddyI don't watch a lot of Tucker but from what I've seen he has sited numbers from VAERS which is definitely relevant when discussing vaccines. Is his rhetoric damaging? Maybe. I'll concede that he has a responsibility to report all the facts and he's not doing that. With that said, I can go any liberal news outlet right now and find an article talking about how Republicans arent keeping up with Democrats on vaccines written within the last couple weeks. Seriously just say one and I'll go find it. You have 1 or 2 examples on the right and I have literally every site and news channel(not just a couple hosts) shit talking conservatives on this issue. I'm not saying conservatives arent a problem, I'm saying you libs are exacerbating the issue by making vaccines so political.
