MIdwest season is over

Well at least for the resorts i can think of in the midwest, our season is over. Except of course the epic hiking days in our local parks. But now that skiing isnt as accessible what are your guys planning on doing this spring or even summer stuff?(really need ideas)

MTB is the best one imo. Taking a trip down twoards the appalacian mountains this summer. Mum said I could take my bike. Any good trail systems there?

No idea but if you end up in New hampshire at some point go to north conway or highland bike park. Best riding in the east.

Ok well black hawk ski area near Madison Wi has good ones and so does quarry ridge in Verona Wi maybe it’s fitchsburg, little switz in between Milwaukee and Madison has a nice little dh park. And crystal mtn Michigan has some nice dh trails so does boyne maybe it’s boyne highlands one of them does

You should ride giants ridge sometime. Its prolly an hour or so drive from Duluth and they only have a couple trails but, damn is it some fun riding. They have 2 double blacks if im not mistaken and 1 black and a few other easier trails for family and what not. also pretty cheap. Not to good at dh honestly. My "local" bike park is pretty small but a good time. They also have a hefty collection of rails that they let people do whatever they want with in the winter. Ever hit dirt jumps on skis? its a blast

I’m only giving advice as to places I’ve personally been I’m not gonna go blabbing about places I can’t actually speak about the trails

Im one lucky kid, family owns my local. So I get season pass for free as well with lodge food. BUT. I still work all summer at the hill helping with whatever I can so dont attack me.

Work w the trail crew and park and pipe! Learn to weld and build features and about the cats and the whole operations side of the business. Find some homies and road trip to hood or somewhere with good spring/summer skiing. Get in tramps, get to camps if you can, get to a gymnastics gym with a flatbed tramp, Skate and bike and workout all summer with just one obsession, next winter !!
