Took the hour and a half drive Tuesday morning to my local(est) mountain just to be greeted by another hour wait for parking. After finally getting one of the furthest back spots I was excited for the first real bluebird day Cypress has had this year. First run was amazing, second run not so much...
New skis (to me) I bought 2 weeks before.
I immediately called the nearest shop (North Shore Ski and Board), seeing if they’d be able to get it remounted ASAP. They told me to bring it in and they’d see what they could do for me, so the long hike out began.
When I got to the shop it was packed, I didn’t think I’d be getting a remount any time soon. Luckily the shop guys were absolute g’s and for the price of 15 pbr I got a half price mount within the hour.
From tearing my binding out at 2 and getting to the shop at 4, I was back on the snow by 6.
Recently I’ve seen a lot of shitty comments about local shops, I just wanted to say thanks NS ski and board for turning around a real shit day.
