CrunnchyVanManSnatch some Look Pivots, from what I know they're the Go-to for park and street riders
friendlyserbianYe plus the new colors are dope asf
Guy_SkiSo I recently broke my marker squire binding and need new ones, I really want a good light binding for park riding that will let my boot sit low to my ski. Anybody have some suggestions?
AJ.NormandIn my personal opinion don’t buy pivots. They do look sick and the concept is good but the metal heel piece isn’t durable. I swore by them until i had had my own break. This is the heel piece that stops the breaks from extending too far and snapping off if you eject. Can’t warranty them and to replace you have to buy a whole new heel piece.
SchoessI rode pivots for years. I liked them, but I've been on Tyrolias for 3 or so seasons now and they haven't broken on me ever. I'm 230lbs, ski 60-100 days a season here in the icy midwest and I abuse my gear. The other thing that makes the Tyrolias superior imo is the lack of pivoting ironically enough. You step into and out of them so much easier. As the pivots age they become very unreliable, difficult to get in and out of, and can bend in the heel so they become non adjustable.
Guy_Skithanks for the suggestions, I wasnt to sure if tyrolias were good or not since I never talked to anyone who rode them, love your work man!
