Replying to Ski Bag to Fly With
So I've never taken my skis on a plane before, and am finally going to invest in a bag that I can check and not fear for my skis.
I know the Dakine Fall Line is mentioned a lot, but I don't know if I'll always be traveling with two pairs of skis and I know it doesn't have straps - is it overkill for one pair? Would the skis slosh around? And is it long enough for a couple pairs of 186 ON3Ps (the size is listed at 190)?
Beyond that, it seems hard to find anyone talking about other options.
Evo has their own branded one and it seems to have good reviews, and MEC has one too (with almost no reviews). Both of those are double roller bags as well, but have straps inside that would probably be useful if traveling with one pair of skis.
What do you guys use to fly with and, whatever it is, have you been stoked on it?
