Replying to Beer Bong?

ok, i recently decided to make a beer bong, and im trying to figure out the tubing issues. im sure there are some math genius's on here.

ok so i want 1 inch or 1.5 inch tubing, i want a decent sized bong that can hold 36 ounces of liquid.

so no im curious, how many feet of tubing will i need in order fo the tube to hold 24 ounces (24 is hard as hell to do, the extra 12 ounces is for fun)...

relating to this same bong, im going to try and make it for a mixer drink, allowing for another tube (smaller) to hold one shot of hard shit so the piece would look much like

Now my question is, if the main chamber was filled with beer first would the beer go up into the shot chamber?
