Replying to TESTING NS TV
Don't get too excited yet, this is still a REALLY SKETCHY test of a program we're trying to use.
You see, streaming live video on our servers would cost such a crazy amount of money that NS would go out of business in a matter of minutes.
However, there is a program called peercast that allows the viewers of a video broadcast to share the bandwidth usage between them. It's the same idea as bit torrent. There's NO adware/spyware, so don't worry about that.
If you want to participate in this test there's a few easy steps you have to follow.
First, download Peercast. http://www.peercast.org/download.php
YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THIS. You can't watch it without the program. Please make sure you have at least three outgoing streams enabled, so you can help share. If nobody shares their connection, it won't work.
Next, go to http://yp.peercast.org/?find=NSTV&Submit=Search
That should take you to the NSTV link.
If not, type click http://yp.peercast.org and put NSTV in the search bar.
Once peercast is running on your computer, click on the Play button to watch.
The video is streaming in .wmv right now, so you'll probably have to use realplayer or windows media player to watch it. I'm trying to figure out how to get it in different formats, but do to the fact that I'm a tech retard, I can't figure it out yet.
Post your comments on whether it's working or not.

There's a getting started guide. Read through it and see if it helps you!
