i have a pair of boots i got at goodwill for 12 $ a couple years ago and they fit now so i was gonna wear them this coming season but i’m thinking of getting the Full Tilt Descendant 4, is it a good choice? i just want a boot that is comfortable and isn’t gonna stunt my progression. and it looks good compared to my plasti dipped goodwill boots

im 13
5’8” prolly 5’10”-6’ during ski season
like 115 lbs rn prolly
eh skier, mostly park when it exists or all mountain when it doesn’t
idk what else might be important

Ski boot fitter here. Go see a boot fitter if you can. Every boot fits differently, has different shapes, materials, stiffness, and purposes. Don't just buy a full tilt for the name, or any boot just for the name or price. Make sure it fits (or at least a REPUTABLE boot fitter says they can make it fit for you), that the flex is right, and that the particular model fits your style of skiing.

Also, Full Tilts are known for fitting a smaller range of foot profiles. So while it is cool and cliche to be riding full tilts, your feet and your skiing ability will thank you for at least consulting a boot fitter first.

Also bootfitter. Explain to a bootfitter what you want and how much money you want to spend. Most (decent) bootfitters want to help and will at least steer you in the right direction or tell you what to buy. We’ve all been there as a young kid with limited cash.
