r00kieNormally I'd be upset when companies miss the deadlines they set but if there is any company that has earned some slack it's ON3P. Besides, whats the rush right now?

I think you just called skiers I have filmed wealthy, which is beyond false and if anything, NS appeals to the least wealthy segment of skiers (18-35). If you think filming skiing is unproductive idk wtf you're doing on NS.

Regardless, appealing to people with money is how you operate a business, there is nothing entitled about running a business.

Making a thread (that you backtracked on) to complain about a small ski company not releasing some fucking ski in july during a pandemic is entitled.

Does that make me think anything bad about them? No, they're still my favorite company in skiing and I hope they will still support me as a customer despite making this thread where I gabber about skis on Ski Gabber. My bad for doing that. How is my post any more entitled than any literally other post complaining about anything?

ConesForBreakfastOkay you're right NS may be the less wealthy demographic of skiing, but almost no one grows up skiing who needs food stamps, sleeps in a tiny bedroom with their 2 brothers and 3 cousins, or fear for their life if they get the flu because they can't afford healthcare. Maybe there are some exceptions, but the large majority of skiers grew up with means to get to the mountain, buy tickets/passes, and gear. Spending that much on a luxury like skiing is a sign of expendable wealth. All the people who then fall in love with it and struggle to find a bed, eat food from the garbage, and sneak onto the mountain so they can ski all the time have brought that on themselves and I respect it. They still aren't the ones who are being murdered by police and oppressed by society. They aren't the ones who activists have in mind when they're trying to make change.

I literally said filming isn't productive except for entertainment. I understand how that drives sales, reputations, etc and its positive repercussions elsewhere. I love it so much and think that you have done a great job, but it isn't doing anything for those in need. It isn't doing anything outside of our nice little niche we have.

2 weeks ago Scott had to put his cat down after 75 days of treatment. That combined with launching the new line during covid and he needed to take a day off. Comes back and their is a shit ton of email / other stuff to catch up on. Basically they are doing the best they can with what they've got. Losing pets sucks, running an independent manufacturing facility and business aint easy, lets have some understanding and be stoked with what they are able to provide.

Last, condolences Scott, losing kitties is the worst.

highpeakCan't speak for Scott but if you maybe took all of 5 minutes to look on another ON3P related thread you'd see there's a super valid and saddening reason for the delay

JupitahJoshno worries, geartalk (think its just called gear now?) is a really good resource if your into anything related to new designs, releases, tech, etc... Honestly my favorite forum on the whole site, lots of people in the industry are there and willing to answer questions if you ask nicely.
