Faction 3.0

I have been choosing skis for the past month. I have done hours of research and have stumbled upon the faction 3.0. They are a great ski for me and I like the graphics. I just wanted to get someone else’s opinion on this.

112 underfoot is a good width because it allows me to spend most of my time off piste doing big mountain and powder skiing and still allows me to maintain stability on the pistes. If I wanted to it could take a lap in the park. It sounds and looks like a great ski. Thought I haven’t skied on it I’ve skied on the 2.0 and the 5.0. I can’t find any decent reviews so I’m trying to get some outside opinion.

I'd stay away from faction candide series, to be honest. My 5.0 delammed after couple of weeks, I've seen at least 3 pairs of 4.0 broken/delammed. Just looked at evo for 3.0 112mm, and there are 2 reviews both saying skis broke.

But faction has a very good warranty program, so if I do manage to break them I will get a new pair. I have read a lot about it and it has had some of the best reviews.

If you like the 5.0, the 3.0 will feel awesome. It’s literally just a slimmed down version of the 5.0. I use mine in the park, in the pow, everywhere. It is a fantastic all mountain ski, and I’ve had 0 durability issues after a full season on them

I had them. They turn nice and are pretty floaty but construction is garbage as usual and they are not what i would say are a charging ski. I destroyed them pretty good after 4 weeks and ended up selling them for peanuts. I now have the 2020 Moment Deathwish which in comparison is a beast of a ski and is better in every way. If you can get them real cheap great, if you want something thats gonna last you for a few seasons take your money elsewhere...
