Replying to Where do you all stand with regards to the “wax vs no wax” debate?

Ive been reading alot recently about all the waves this guy named kuzmin has been making in the ski waxing industry. He basically says that ski bases have no pores in them and dont hold wax at all and waxing a ski makes it slower than just scraping it with a metal
scraper and exposing fresh base material. It seems alot of people and even some countries cross country skiing teams have embraced kuzmins thesis, but im still on the fence because ive felt my skis glide better after a good fresh waxing. What do you guys think?
