As we all know christmas is just around the corner and its time to start fucking around and playing dress up with our ski equipment and i thought id start by waxing my skis. Is there a problem with having a really thick layer of wax on the base of the ski? I mostly just let the shop guys wax my skis but ive waxed them plenty of times by myself for fun.
I like having a thick layer of wax so my edges dont stick out like those double blade ice skates you see on disabled kids at the ice rink.
is there a problem with using a mound of wax on your base, as long as its smooth and flat?
