Jackson closed their tram... It’s only a matter of time before all gondolas shut down and/or resorts fully close over this years strain of the flu. What the fuck is wrong with the general public?!?

Yup, had to cancel my Haute Route ski tour trip. It sucks for sure, but understandable. If I would have went, I could have risked being stuck there and getting in debt that I'd have to pay off for years.

Just glad my trip to Jackson/Utah this week was all within driving distance from CO. That, and that the trams at Jackson/snowbird were still open for our trip.


Now back home to work retail in a tourist town, fack.

I did. Turns out it was the right call cause all the resorts are closed. Ended my season today in wet but massive granules of manmade snow that got super cut up and chunky through the day. Last run I wanted to try a nose butter 5 cause I haven't in a long time, didn't have enough speed and did a 3 instead and wheelied out. Quite different than ending the season doing laps at Loveland.

I went skiing today at mammoth and they closed at noon. Turns out they closed for two weeks starting tomorrow, and there is going to be like 3 feet of snow. gonna have to go home early and not shred the pow.

Drove over 1,000 miles to Jackson Hole to close. I got up to the mountain early ready to ski some powder first they announced the mountain was on avalanche hold. By 845 it was clear that they were done for the season. Not mad, just dissapointed, at least on got 1day at Squaw Valley on my way out of California.

I skied yesterday but they close right on a 2 foot powder day. I was hoping they'd last the weekend.

I flew all the way from Vermont to Jackson hole for two weeks of skiing and the damn resort closed. I got in one run at snow king before they closed and then did some alpine touring with my friends today.

I think you made the right choice . You could get COVID-19 during travels and be fine, but your grandparents could be up shit creek if you brought it to them
