FabseMI was about to open a threat about it... I am in the middle of it all... so pissed rn.
wanted to go surfing in Morocco for a couple of days, of course no chance to get to the airport.
so I wanted to go skiing the whole week to clear my head and now this happens.
I hope they don't lock is at home, so we can at least go touring and enjoy the fresh snow that came in...
s.j.mitchellBest of luck to you boss!
FabseMupdate. nobody can leave his hometown except if you are going to work.
JohnnyDopePretend you are a pro skier and tell them that you've got to train
Man's got to make a living...
OregonDeadDo they really have people patrolling in the alps to enforce this? I thought you can skin across the border and no one will be the wiser?
trifonitchevonly a matter of weeks until it means RIP us in austria , skiseason.
trifonitchevUs in austria living are really thrilled about it - especially our neighbor, italy, is getting so outta control , that we are at the brink of getting tsunamid by them , one of austrias biggest ski resort is closing already, only a matter of weeks until it means RIP us in austria , skiseason.
bars and clubs are done etc. shits getting cereal

DolanReloadedItalian women are the most spoiled stuck up bitches ive ever come across.
Literally like veruka salt from willy wonkas chocolate factory.
Also...
italian engineers are way inferior to german engineers. Ferraris get half the mpg of porsches and break down ten times more often.
the 458 italias were catching on fire for fuck sake.
might as well buy a car made in greece.
Inb4 “muh passion”

Afghan_kush6000 dead in Italy... for those who compare this too the flu you’re idiots
OregonDeadpeople are buying all the cereal over there? over here it is just toilet paper. I don't think people here are hoarding food yet but maybe they are. I have like a couple dozen deer that live in my yard plus tons squirrels and stuff and they do not even know that they are my emergency food supply. so much food around that I doubt that will happen. also my mom already bought a bunch of Easter candy just in case the stores close or something
FabseMwhere da fuq did you get that number from man????
it's around 800 deaths right now.
keep ur facts straight and inform yourself correct before you write bullshit
Afghan_kushIt’s rapidly spread in the past 6 h. A lot in smaller itilain districts
trifonitchevSo well im originally out of Germany , Southern part living in austria now , innsbruck for university.
Little hard facts: universities completely shifted to online courses , no appearances anymore, schools are closing on monday for "older" students. Public spaces like libraries are done. cafes etc. are allowed to have not more then 100 people attending and outdoor events are all cancelled to a minimum of late april with over 500 attendants.
1 ski resort is closing already , due 2 digit cases and new infections from a infected bartender in an after ski "bar".
If innsbruck is getting more cases i bet our resorts will get f'd in the a**. I genuinely happy they are being super tight on the decisions but it is also making me quite nervous with the development of things to come. Germany has the same infection rate and cases currently as austria , although being 10 times bigger in population and there way too loose in my opinion right now.
nothing that you can do other then not visiting "risk areas" and to be as consciously prevantitive as one can be by dimming social interactions in public and minimize chances of infections.
Speaking of "hamster purchases" so far there is no need for it , though they say it is always recommended to have supplies for random events, our medias are going ape shit and report so much panic making bs , most doctors say its still manageable if society does what stated above " as consciously prevantitive ..."
As well all know there these people and others... yesterday i was just trying to get ingredients for wraps haha had to wait a whopping 30 minutes to get to pay since all of the checkouts were completely loaded , all isles no back ups and i saw people hammering those 5 kilo (11 lb) potato sacks and canned goods and toilet paper.
In a nutshell this stuff is scary but if people stick to a protocol and won't act like egomaniacs + just be realistic that when you feel symptoms let yourself be checked for the sake of society it should be gone. I just hope the summer heat will f' the f out of the virus.
Edit: oh and for the love of god my fellow people , DO NOT spread anything from stories or number so or facts you did not triple check, the news reporting on this matter and globally is so absolutely off , consult the world health org or anything other official reliable. Articles , tv reports are nowadays far from 100% accurate.

SimkiwinkiUpdate: Salzburg is closing all lifts

trifonitchevgscheid winki shredden am sontag
FabseMbro wtf????
this is the most stupid thing I have ever seen. in a post about hard times and staying strong you come up with stuff that doesn't matter at all.
I can only hope you do not have to experience the same we do atm.
and to my fellow skiers in Austria. it's going to be tough, but I hope people at yours are smart enough to pull the handbreak before it's getting totally out of hand.
Love and peace from the italian Alps
DolanReloadedIm sorry. I just get really angry when anything italian comes across my radar. I think italian food is great but the females in italy are literally more spoiled than females in america

pokermanDoes Dolan need another time out?
SavageBiffSo you’ve lived in, visited Italy? Dated a multitude of Italian women from different demographic regions of the usa? Are you a professor of Italian culture or human behavior?
At least tour statement about the food was true.
DolanReloadedI think its fair and legit to attack the demeanor of people from a certain country based on those who you have crossed paths with in life. For me there has been a recurring theme of righteousness and self righteous anger in the italian people i have met.
Meh. Im just not a fan. Plenty of people hate germans and nobody gets chastised for that...
I feel like its reasonable to judge a country by the opinion its residents have of the detritus it engineers. Overrated is a good word to sum up.
SavageBiffI just can’t profile an entire race based off my interactions with so few, I feel if I did it would be so off due to such a diversity within every race and nation.
DolanReloadedPlenty of people hate germans and nobody gets chastised for that...
DolanReloadedYeah but once your sample size gets big enough you can start making statistical inferences.
SimkiwinkiWhy would someone hate germans?!
DolanReloadedAlot of people do for the same reason alot of people hate the yankees
also theres people who dont forgive the nazis grandchildren/great grandchildren bc of what they did.
also in the view of alot of people, germans should not be allowed to be patriotic and proud to be german.
its kind of silly but alot of people hate the fact that the country that considered themselves the master race in ww2 is effectively making the same statement today not verbally but through the quality of their engineering.
its obvious that some true ubermensch germans are still trolling america with that statement when they do things like program their diesel volkswagons to hack the emissions test and make the clowns in the epa look like complete losers. The german studs that pulled that off (for a while at least) are based as fuck.
SavageBiffDon’t forget the cam follower in 2.0t in b7 and b8 Audi and vw engines that disintegrates every 10k and you lose your motor if you don’t replace before hand and Audi hasn’t Dont shot to fix or stand by it , so much for superior engineering 🙄 their superiority is only in marketing and sales as an owner of multiple bmws , and Audi’s And still do, they are kinda pieces of shit that fall apart, especially if you track them at all, American is much more dependable. I mean ya germans make great door hinges and soundproof cabins, comfy ride TOO BAD everything around it that matters , transmissions, motors for example falls a fucking part! Fuck you AOA
Not to mention countless , countless other failures from Audi and vw and even bmw.
DolanReloadedDont worry i just get irritated by how many americans dont respect german engineering. Ill even admit that japanese cars are alot of the time more dependable than german cars. But the reason japans cars are so great is because they take german innovations and refine them to perfection with their insane attention to detail. During ww2 germany sent all its blueprints for battleships, fighter planes, Guns, subs, beer, bratwurst, (jk on the beer and bratwurst, but who knows?) etc to japan so japan could build them on their own and use them to fight the americans. And after ww2 was over the japanese basically said “hey, we are pretty good at this, why dont we just keep doing it” and they continued to take german cars and Copy/reverse engineer them so they could make and sell their own reliable cars. And after a while it became clear that japanese cars were getting very dependable, even more than the cars from germany. But that didnt change the fact that most of the innovations were coming out of germany. Today though japan has so much engineering knowhow theyve built up over the years that they are making incredibly dependable cars.
the point is, in 1986 porsche made the 959 which compared to other cars of that time was literally a spaceship.
if other countries like japan have caught up to germany thats fair to point out but you still gotta respect the engineering history of germany.
