Shewlur...I’d target something no wider than 100mm under foot if you’ll be skiing primarily on the east coast. Look into ON3P, though their skis are heavily rockered for the most part and don’t perform great on East Coast boiler plate.

find a flex profile that you like and start reading about/comparing skis within that category. It’s difficult to go wrong if you know more or less exactly what you’re buying.

PoubtvLove my sick day 104s. Sturdy for groomers but light enough to swing around (i personally like 360s on side hits, off rocks etc.) Altough the durability isn’t comparable to on3p’s, they’re nice and light (full wood core)

_Dirty_Where do you typicality ski?

PoubtvI normally take them out on big mountains and when there’s fresh snow (killington, sunday river, mt snow, loon, jay peak)

_Dirty_Getting back into the game after a 15 yr hiatus, been ridden the single board in the meantime. I plan to ride the board on Pow days but going to ride skis on pretty much all other days.

been looking at the Kore 93, Kore 99, and Sick Day 94. I’ll be ridding every thing from groomers to glades and hitting side hits however, will not be in the park.

looking for a pair of skis that can be as close as possible to do it all. Open to any other suggestions also.

VT skiing, so conditions for the most will not be the best.

mystery3As someone who took a hiatus of similar length on the darkside only to come back to skiing to teach my kids how to ski at a young age I'd strongly recommend getting to a demo day at a nearby hill this spring. I've gone through a couple pairs in search of the perfect ski. I had an idea of what I was looking for when coming back but trying a few different pairs at a demo day helped immensely and directing my search.

SoAnGI ski the same locations as you mentioned. After using various widths ( 94-106) as daily drivers over the years, I wouldn't recommend anything over 100MM as a one ski option. My opinion for the east coast is you have two setups.

_Dirty_Thanks, that’s why I was looking at 93/4/9 options 99 being the widest I’d go. Is there a considerable difference between a 93/4 and 99?
